If you know what make and model and year the boat is there is probably pretty good literature on what should be in place. If they cleaned and drained the tanks how much fuel did it take to fill it?

Made a delivery once because it absolutely had to be there. That delivery thought me how to say no more often. You can do it it will take you forever but I would not advise it

I use marine ply and then put the teak veneer over it. Most production boats are built that way. Veneer isn’t as hard as most say just go slow and glue as you go

You can. It is an immediate cleansing of the tank but does not effectively treat the water as chlorine does

I never worry about the deck. This usually has 3/4 plywood and if it has gotten wet and dried a hundred times it will be fun if you dry it out. Stringers another story depending on what they are cored with. The hull is usually solid glass in that era so that shouldn’t be a big concern either...
