I have a 48 Tolly which I love. My power is two 6BTA Cummins at 300 HP each. I have sea trialed at 18 knots. I am on a fixed income and therefore usually travel at 8 knots. I have plenty of power if needed.

Where are you located.

I purchased a treager pellet grill. It uses no propane. The temperature controls very well. I cook on the dingy deck and store when not in use on the fly bridge. I am planning to smoke some herring this spring when the Yaquina run comes in.

Has anyone used Sea Gold by Petite?? I think it only comes in a satin finish and is a water based solution. I am very curious. Fish Tales

made this trip twice and it was always middle of June because it lays down a bit in June and the day light hours are a little longer. Same thought in September Longer days and sea states are nice as a general rule. Greg
