Its probably about a foot or so. The coring is balsa. I'll have to get more info about what they did for replacement coring.

Thanks, I guess the good thing is the boat was not in the water when all this happened, so the likelihood of water intrusion into the core material is pretty low. Very curious to see the damage pictures and repair report.
