    Irritating fan motor resonance!! Help.

We have one and I found it was better solidly fixed rather than isolated, then the mass it is fixed to works as a damper as well.... Worth a try...!

I received this reply from them... "It would be covered for trips out. It is definitely covered for the way 99% of people use their tenders."

Insurance on an old boat... Beware!!

The maximum coverage for any “dinghy” and its outboard is $15,000. The “dinghy” must be primarily used as the tender to an “insured...

Insurance on an old boat... Beware!!

It is on our policy, I have read the whole thing now...!!! Sorry to hear you had problems, my point is more that people should check what coverage they have on an old boat, I'm not trying to promote our insurance, just to make people aware of the pitfalls of old boat insurance...

Insurance on an old boat... Beware!!

We bought our first boat, a 1976 Hatteras LRC last year, coming from the UK we had no experience with insurance in the US, I had joined the MTOA sometime before and remembered that they had an insurance scheme, we went with their broker, the insurance seemed competitive when compared to online...

With the new regulations of foreign nationals owning pleasure craft in the US she will be undocumented with the USCG, unregistered in Florida and then registered at Lloyds of London and fly the red ensign.. We live in the city of Hull in East Yorkshire so we will probably have Hull on her...

    Our new boat 1976 Hatteras 42LRC Mk1

Thanks, she is in excellent condition, when the survey can only note a missing positive rubber boot on an alternator, some wiring clips and a leaking packing gland on a rudder (that had just been repacked so needed adjustment) you know you have found a good boat... Some of her spec... Detroit...
