    Also have serious look at a Fleming! As an ex sailor (2 ocean crossings) I am very happy with my Krogen Express not ocean crossing capabel but noproblem for serious coastal passages. Good kuck with yiur search.

    You are absolutally correct. In fact that is the way it is installed on our present boat. The system I reffered too was on aour previous boat (Kuster 42). I still have a heavy duty portable deckwash pump as back up. Greetings ex Antwerp - Belgium

    The way to do it is with ONE heavy duty pump that is connected with rigid piping to the area's and bilges where you would 'normally' have seperate bilgepumps.     Trawler VS Express (Space vs Speed)?

    Have you evaluated a Krogen Express?? We are live aboards during 5-6 months and use our Krogen Express 49 as a displacement trawler. We log roughly 450-500 engine hours. Occasionally we push the handles to WOT when depth, room in abscense of other boats.
