    I just came across the OWW 2 days ago in our DeFever 44 and had no issues with water depth. The controlling depth is in reference to some skinny spots along the rim canal. The depth in the lake (Route 1) is fine. St Lucia lock had a 8’ lift the day we went through, the others were minimal. Mike

    Looking at a trawler with these motors that has 4400 hours. I know a lot of a motors longevity is based on maintenance but in general is this a lot of hours for these motors? Mike

    Pilots

    Got my PPL in 1974. Took my brother for a ride and now he’s a 787 Captain. CFII, taught at tOSU for a few years. Own a Bonanza which we use to go between our landlocked central Ohio home and our home in Punta Gorda where we keep our boat. Don’t know how we would get by without it. Mike

    Leave A/C running when away?

    I use a cheap Home Depot dehumidifier. Cost about .12 boat units and has lasted 3 summers in Florida. Mike
