Have you determined the cause of the no output situation? Lots of simple things can make the output go away. That said the Phasor Compact 6 Kw is a nice unit.

Attwood makes a small D cell powered bilge pump. Self contained with an on-off switch. It gets down low to the deck about 1/4 inch. I use one for my skiff. The hose coils up around the pump body for storage.

If you havent bought them yet, great because you want the 2" spindle foot mount for a Perkins 6.354. Those in the photos are either 3.15" or 4" saddle foot mounts. They are not even close. So unless you want to build custom mounts, go 2" Dual foot mount and a few spacer washers to make it line...

Agree it looks like a ballast resistor for an old points type ignition distributor. Was your boat repowered from gas to diesel?

You need the water going out the transom exhaust to cool the exhaust hose. Burned hoses lead to mass flooding bad day!

BS Could you do us a favor and re-take that wiring diagram photo into 4 zoomed in quarters. My manual is missing that drawing and I have not had any luck finding it online anywhere. Its a little fuzzy when you zoom in. Is there also a wire color key table? Thanks.

We had a 55# Vulcan (it was stolen) and felt it was just right for our 36 Monk. If you do feel the need, Amazon had the lowest prices yet found for Rocna I or Vulcans.
