All, a little late update. American Diesel delivered the alternator just fine back then. They are true champions for this engine. Highly recommended.

Thanks! The el. shops down the road weren't able to rescue it, so it needs to be replaced. I spoke to Brian at American Diesel and he offered an upgrade as well.

Engine won't switch off from neither stations, cabin or fly bridge. Manually switched off the magnetic switch at the engine. Works now fine again (weird). Mech told me might be overheat (engine ran >4h that day). Any experience, advice?

Thanks, I'll check how bad it is and if repaired will run it periodically. Might also help to burn the 1300l Diesel I still have on board from the predecessor.

No, it ran at 220 before but again: only tested, never really needed. Weighing all options now. Repair vs other options might be similar in cost. Thanks for your thoughts, great advice.
