We hit something hard on the 3rd on the way to fireworks show in Biloxi on a low tide. After pulling the boat next morning and start demo, found a lot of mixed matched parts. Even two dif. Length trans, surprise,surprise. Oh well, time to do a little more diggin.

2" to 3". Looks like I had about 1" on one and 1 1/2" on the one I replaced. Had a couple of ol timers say not less than one inch.

Had new port d,shaft made, stbd straighten. Had wheels reworked. As I started back together I discovered port shaft is longer than stbd. Anyone have a clue where the face of the wheels should stop?

rudder hey buddy, the rudder size on my 34 is, well, way too small. Mine are rect. Too. The utility boats we used to run were hugh, but with our almost flat bottom in the back, I think we would keep bigger ones torn off.

deck or bridge extension I matched up floor thickness and crown, went to stern, then fwd both sides about 18"past cabin rear wall to make wing doors that zip out. I also framed up bridge and built top for bridge. I think a pic under my name shows tops
