Check your caps. It appears that the vents in the caps are aimed right at the posts. If this is the case your posts will be covered in slime in three months. Cap vents should always be pointed away from the posts.

Not to nit pick you but ABYC requires your battery cables to be sheathed. Since I can’t see the rest of it I am assuming that you have a fuse and a battery on/off switch near by.

If you build the battery box around the batteries are you going to be able to get the batteries out when they die and need replacement? Also the box needs to be able to contain the liquid if the batteries are flooded.

Dyno supplies ready made boxes for L16's you can order from Fisheries Supply. You can cut and vent to accommodate your cabling and venting requirements. I had a 4 battery version.
