Hello from deep south Texas. I have recently been assigned, along with our university boat captain, to oversee the work being done on our 54' Thompson Trawler. I believe it was originally a commercial shrimp boat, but now serves as our program's floating classroom for community outreach. The project will cover from stem to stern. I'm looking forward to being part of the this community, learning all about trawlers and hopefully sharing some of my experiences. Saludos!

Thank you. The weather has improved, but as we say in Texas... if you don't like the weather just wait a day or two. We went from 26 degrees F on Thursday to high 60's-70's by Saturday. I have a lot of respect for everyone who actually has a long winter season.
