Couldn't resist taking her out for a short cruise, drop a hook, swim around for a while, and enjoy her while we still have her.

We got all her cosmetics repaired after the tornado this spring and she is looking good as ever. Biggest thing we did was replace all the teak hand rails with custom fabricated 1.25" diameter stainless steel rails for upper and lower decks. They came out looking like they were installed at the factory and very rugged looking with the 1.25" size (vs. 7/8" or 1") and frankly- less teak to take care of now. :) It is ridiculous how much money, time, care, and love we have poured into our beloved Monk 36 "Living Light"!:thumb::thumb:
Today was my last little project- had to fabricate the new venturi windshield for the flybridge and installed before going for the short cruise and swim.

Definitely looking good, Tony. Good to see her out.

Tony, The hand rails, and the rest of the boat, look great! I planned to do that but,the only quote I was for +- $5.000.00 with that I convinced myself that the hand rails are the easiest teak to work on. May I ask what you were charged? Were they welded in place on the boat?
Thanks
Steve W.
