how did it work out over time?

so, how did the Panga work out over time? any regrets? what would you do differently? I personally hate inflatables, so i'm curious anytime someone goes w a panga or something unique.

Perry, I too was a member of the panga club, so welcome!

When I was living in the Middle East I had a semi-custom panga built for me. Not a lot of pirates in the Persian Gulf, but it was an affordable inshore boat. NOT offshore. I went with a 20ft with center (actually sorta aft) console and a 40hp Mercury Bigfoot. Hi torque. Big prop. Would cruise 20knots light but 14knots heavily loaded with a half dozen kids and BBQs and whatnot. By coincidence, similar Key West lime green, but with a white transom. Lots of fun and great in the mangroves or for chasing flamingos. Their wings, when open, are so gorgeous ya just can't help but entice them to fly!
