Just received this. Its much better at the Convention Center at the beach than way down in Virginia Key.

I’m actually a little disappointed. It was easier for me to get to Virginia Key than Miami Beach. I also thought having the show at the Marine Stadium might have encouraged the county to restore the stadium.

I guess the Convention Center is cheaper to rent than putting up all those tents. Unfortunately there is no water access to the Convention Center.

It was also nice having the in water displays at the same location as the land side displays.

Another thing I don’t like about this is for the first time in about seventy years, the show won’t happen on my birthday! Where will I have my party?

So which is better? Miami or Ft. Lauderdale?

I’ve gone to both and worked both. I find more interesting things at the Miami show.

We prefer the Miami show, less mega yachts and more of what we like - boats and "stuff." Plus the nearby (and on the free shuttle route) Collins Ave brokerage show was always a favorite.

Parks, for those coming into town the Beach is always the destination!! :D

Though we stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables for the show two years ago and it was also good - especially the choice of restaurants along the Miracle Mile.

Menzies, Coral Gables is a great area for restaurants. You should try some Cuban food next time you’re in town.
