Vessel Make
Mainship 30 Pilot ll
Hello Everyone,
With the challenges of dealing with Covid last year, we somehow managed to purchase our first power boat: a Mainship 30 Pilot II (15 years owning sailboats). We considered this boat to be the perfect vessel since we still enjoy diving in Canada's diving capital (Tobermory, Ontario - 22 shipwrecks) and, we wish to enjoy some cruising this year up in the "North Channel". The boat is in need of some repairs and also some modifications in order for us to consider cruising. Articles in Trawler Forum have been so helpful and I greatly appreciate the opportunity of being a member.
Regards,
Lee

Greetings,
Welcome aboard eh? Beautiful country. A number of years ago we headed for the North Channel from Trenton, ON. Got as far as Parry Sound and ran out of time. Ah well, it'll still be there...

Just a suggestion. Before you make any MAJOR modifications, live with her for a year. What seems like a good idea now may not be...Oh, and we need pictures or it didn't happen.

Love the Tobermory area. We are not far from you during the summer. Gravenhurst Ontario.
