In response to a great anchorage photo (paraphrasing...) --

"Oh! WOW! What a remote, peaceful anchorage! So beautiful, quiet and natural. ---- Did you have cell service there?"

That's what I say to keep a couple of my fav spots free of genny noise: no cell service there.

You meet the nicest people off the grid!
 
You also have to have Loud music playing all day then run the generator all night. Otherwise how can you relax and enjoy nature.

I wouldn't know, I've never seen anyone to meet in the good spots ;)
 
and you can meet the strangest people living off the grid too.

Some of the off the grid people make you want to lock up your wallet, tools and hide the woman and children too.
