Renewing an old marina

Wish the powers that be in Panama City would get with it and even let a contract for the reconstruction of the two city marinas destroyed by Hurricane Michael. Sad to see the empty basins which were long ago cleared of debris.

Repeatedly I've seen city owned and community owned the slowest to renew. Just look at Fernandina Beach. I understand that to cities like Panama City there are many other priorities. If that's the case, then turn it over to private marina developers and just give them waterfront leases but let them invest in the docks. There are people interested in such operations.
