Looks like the air inlet side. You don't say which engine. Since Yanmar 6 cylinders terminate their crankcase vent right above the air filter a little oil always gets sucked into the turbo.
More importantly is what does the exhaust side look like. You have to remove an elbow or so to see inside, but well worth it. If the exhaust throat is covered with corrosion that is a sure sign of water backing up from the exhaust. To fix it you have to rework the exhaust.

As commented above by DavidM, it is not unusual to have a trace of oil in the intake
before the turbo.
If you can reach it, see if there is any play in the impeller. It should be minimal.

Also a good idea to give it a spin with your finger, it should spin freely and carry on for easily a half dozen revolutions from a hearty push.
