I am looking for a trawler backup camera, wireless and with a battery operated camera. I have no obvious source of 12v where the camera is to be located. Most I’ve seen have a 12v cig lighter style power for the viewing screen, which is ok.
I do not need internet access.
Cameras to go with my E120 chartplotters are both expensive and need to be wired, as far as I know.
Suggestions?

Check my previous thread on this very topic.

The only “drawback” is it needs some sort of WiFi signal to communicate with your phone or tablet. It is not compatible with chartplotters as it needs the CloudEdge software. However, it is inexpensive, simple install, and meets our needs quite nicely. We use our phone’s hotspot as the WiFi source and it works well enough three other people in the marina ordered them.
