As you can see we have now converted from Sparklit ActiveBoard to vBulletin. Many of you who are active on other internet forums will be familiar with this software as it powers most of the larger forums online. Please take some time to poke around, click some buttons and get used to the new software.

I am sure everyone will have lots of questions so please ask them here.

There's still lots of tweaking to do but I agree it looks awesome. :)

Greetings,
So, where have you hidden OTDE? Changes look fine and why am I not a Hall of Famer any more? Gurus are so passe...

Made it!!

Well done guys - quick and painless. It doesn't always go that way.

OTDE is now available as a joinable (members only) forum.

Click on user cp (upper nav bar) and then look for 'group memberships" in the left side menu of your profile. You should see an option to join. be sure to click save when you're finished.

Hello, New People! The site looks good so far. The graphics and our photos look way better.

Greetings,
Thanks Janet H got the OTDE thing. Might mention Avatar (missing). Not a BIG thing but please address IF you have the time or can I do it myself. (you must be overloaded with "what about's" and "how come's"). Patience my dear, patience.....Oh, and how do I add My moniker (RTF) to end my posts?....All in time..."The ox is slow but the earth is patient".

RTF

Looking very good! Will take a bit of getting used to the new format, but that doesn't mean that it's not better!
May not be able to load a new avatar though, as it apparently has to be less than 100k, and I have nothing that small.

Thanks Mike for your help - all is good now!!!

Got in, changed password without too much trouble. Like the new look of the site, in a few weeks it will seem like its always been this way. Thanks for you work!

Looks awesome

The way it looks and the way it works are usually two different things.

Whew! Looks like I made it through the black hole, through the storm, to the other side, etcetera.

Painless so far and looks good.

After a few frustrating moments, and help from you guys, things seem to be working just fine.... and I'm happy that the forum is up and working!

Delia Rosa, I am glad to see you got in okay and got your avatar loaded. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

We were able to get the old avatars back.. If you currently did not have an avatar, we uploaded the one you had on the old board (if you had one). Hopefully this worked ok. :)

Seems to have worked for me too. No problems changing I dont think. I guess I will see when posting

I like the new format - brighter colors and easier to read. Well Done!

I've been sitting back here for a while, playing "let's see", and I have to agree that you all did an outstanding job on the new software. It's an attractive, greatly improved format.

Can the commercial ads be far behind?

My favorite part is the "Mark this forum read" choice. The old software did not have this capability.

Looks good so far, I hope it's as quick and intuitive as the old software!

I found my cat. So do I have two cats now, spare cat, since you retrieved the old cat?
Twits, er twin cats?

I've been knocking on the door for over a week. It seems when I was TF user #0000001 I was using an email address that was retired a long time ago. I couldn't even remember what it was!

Now I'm in and I can actually post. Great job Andy! (and staff). It really does look good! :thumb:
