Ha! Coincidentally my wife picked up a Chinese take-out dinner for us a couple years ago. Came to $35. The cashier left her finger on the "0" key a little too long and those egg rolls suddenly cost $3,500. They gave my wife the same story, it would take a week to ten days to process the refund. She went into lawyer mode, made some very firm phone calls to the owner and the bank and got it credited the next day.

Purchased a drink at a Cruise-ship bar. The receipt showed a charge for 100 drinks. Had the bartender correct his error right then.

But all is well. Australia resoundingly beat England in the cricket series the journo was there to cover. No sandpaper used to "condition" the cricket ball this time.

That smack upsude Smith's head (neck) didn't seem to slow him down!
Last two tests were exciting to the end. If England hadn't lost two wickets in the first over in their second innings they would probably have lasted the final 13 overs and the final test would have been fun.
Now onto the rugby world cup - and an interesting world number one before it begins. What's happening to those invincible All Blacks?
