Where to attach this anchor pin cable?

I am in the process of fixing various thing on the new to me Maniship 400 and one of the item on the list this weekend is to do something so the boss doesn't drop the anchor pin....:angel:

They both have a metal attachment wire but they are both broken and I cant seem to figure out where they are supposed to attach?

Comment welcome...

I believe they should attach to that small loop that juts out to the left of center.

Ok, thanks..I cut off the frayed end and re crimped it on that loop.. should be ok..
