I just finished the sad job of dismantling my '67 wood Trojan 42. The job produced a bunch of brass/bronze hardware like carriage bolts/nuts of various lengths, plumbing brass (1/2" connectors, Ts, elbows, etc) and Groco thru-hulls and seacocks of various sizes. Since I am planning on cruising the Caribbean next year, I was wondering if it would be worth while taking this stuff with me to sell/trade to other boaters in need of such things.
I guess the real question is how much need for hardware of this nature is actually still in use?
