Ya, it sure wasn't yesterday, esp for a BC Ferries passenger into or out of Horseshoe bay... And today, six inches of snow since late this morning and piling up fast... nothing to do but read TF...

I was on the last boat on Sunday from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo, left the boat show early as I was concerned about the ferry. Turns out I caught the last one of the day and trip was "rock and roll." It snowed so heavily you couldn't see anything.
I did get a good look at the damage done to Sewell's Marina where my old boat is still moored. My beater of a boat survived, the ocean break barge sure did not, and all the rental boats stored on it, did not. Somehow Sewell's got a hold of another large barge which was being installed as the Ferry pulled away.
