    • Ads that are inactive for 180 days or longer may be moved to the Classified Archive and locked. Ads may be relisted if the item is still current. Alternatively, owners may contact a Moderator to reinstate an archived ad.
    • The Classified section is for advertising, members are asked to refrain from posting discussions to a Classified Ad. Please start a discussion thread or PM the owner for discussions.
    • Do not hijack another member's ad by posting unsolicited commentary. Example: if a member has posted an ad offering an anchor for sale, don't add a post to his thread stating that you have an anchor you'd like to get rid of also. Posts deemed as unsolicited commentary may be removed.
    • For your own security, do NOT include your e-mail or phone number in your ad. Instead request that interested parties contact you via PM (private message) to provide owners contact info.
    • Brokers, Dealers, or those with a commercial interest in a sale are prohibited from posting in Classifieds.
    • Only Trawler Forum Commercial Members may post ads in the Commercial section. You must be a designated Commercial Member to start threads in this section of the forum. (Contact a moderator if you have questions about this)

    • Place only one ad per item (you may repost only when your ad has expired and been removed).
    For Sale ads MUST include:
    • Asking price
    • Location
    • A Basic Description
    • Clear statement whether you are the owner or non-owner (posting for friend, relative, or acquaintance)
    • Don't forget to select: FOR SALE, WANTED or FREE in the Title block.
All ads should also include ALL the following:
    • Pertinent maintenance and condition information
    • Exterior picture or pictures
    • Interior picture or pictures (boats)
For maximum impact & exposure, it is suggested the Ad Title include: Year, Manufacturer, Model, Length, Price, and Location or at the very top of the ad body. When your item has sold or the ad is no longer relevant: Please post a Reply to the ad that the item is SOLD or click "Report Post" on post 1 of the thread to ask a moderator to archive the ad. Beware of unsolicited contacts offering to put you in touch with someone else who is buying or selling via e-mail or text.

Do not post your e-mail address or phone number in a classifieds ad.

Hints that you may be dealing with a Scammer:
    • Seller or Buyer approaches you via a direct email or PM and then steers you to an off-site communication method (text or email).
    • No posts or very few forum posts.
    • Recent forum membership
    • Insists on conducting negotiations via email or text rather than PM
    • Requires payment via Bank Transfer, BitCoin/CryptoCurrency, WesternUnion or other unsecured method.
    • Buyer or Seller suggests Paypal "Friends and Family" payment. Paypal is a good way to arrange payment but an invoice for goods and services should be used rather than "Friends and Family". "Friends and Family" avoids fees BUT there is no recourse if the transaction runs aground. Friends and Family is for gifts only. There is no protection for Friends and Family transactions, so never ever use it to buy something.

Guys, I'm selling my 2000 Camano 31. The boat is located in Quincy, Mass at my marina and can be shown easily. I'm asking $91k o.b.o. Feel free to call or text me anytime from 8am -11pm , 7 days a week. I'd actually prefer talking/texting versus emailing. I can send more pics too, for some reason I could only add 10 images here.

Jason 617.817 .1136

Year: 2000
Make: Camano
Length: 31'
Breadth: 10'6
Draft: 3.5' (but I think it's actually a lot less)
Approx displacement: 15k lbs.
Engine: Single 2000 Volvo TAMD41P-a. It's a 6 cylinder turbo diesel motor with 1645 hours.
Speed: She will cruise all day long at 10-12 knots. Her top speed is around 15 knots and she is very comfortable at slower speeds too (6-8 knots).
Tankage: There are 2 fuel tanks that hold a total of 100 gallons of fuel. The water is also in 2 tanks and is approx. 80 gallons. The head holding tank is 15 gallons

The Camano 31 is a great coastal trawler and perfect for extended trips. There are 2 helms. One on the flybridge and one downstairs. This makes for ease of docking and cruising while in inclement weather. The sightlines from the lower helm are outstanding. There is also a bow thruster which aids in docking.

SALON: The spacious, newly carpeted salon is equipped with 2 leather captain and co captain chairs and dining table. There is an L shaped settee to port and this settee can be made into an extra sleeping berth for guests. Under the settee is a large storage area and aft underneath is the 16k BTU MarineAirrrr AC/reverse cycle heat unit. To starboard is the new HD TV and Dickinson Propane furnace.

GALLEY: The galley is down and to port. The galley features pressurized hot and cold water and a stainless steel sink. There is a good amount of storage for pots/pans, food and dishes. There is a propane Force 10 cooktop and a wooden cutting board cover. There is a NovaCool fridge and freezer in the galley. Custom wooden spice rack and glass storage is aft.

HEAD: The head features hot and cold water, a Jabsco toilet w holding tank and a macerator to discharge overboard, an overhead shower with wraparound curtain, shower sump, AC outlets, a LARGE mirror and plenty of storage located in 2 different areas.

V BERTH: The vberth is forward and will comfortably sleep 2 adults. I'm 6' tall and there is still plenty of room. There is 2 portlights with screens and an overhead Bomar hatch with screen. The ventilation is great in here. The AC keeps the sleeping quarters cool! There is storage under all the cushions and 2 large drawers for clothes. There are also 2 reading lights and I added a new 22" inch HDTV this year.

HANGING LOCKER: The hanging locker is next to the head and is quite spacious. I've added 2 rods in there for clothes to hang. Nice use of space.

COCKPIT: The cockpit houses a large , dry lazarette in the center. VERY BIG! Lots of room down there. Very nice storage area. In the corners of the cockpit are 2 large scuppers with strainers. The propane locker is located in the cockpit. It houses a full size BBQ propane tank. The solenoid and propane hoses are new as of this year.

FLYBRIDGE: The flybridge is huge! Great area for entertaining or piloting the boat. It features full controls and electronics. There are 3 helms chairs facing forward and a bench storage seat for 2/3 people aft. THE FLYBRIDGE ENCLOSURE AND SEAT CANVAS IS BRAND NEW 2018!

ENGINE ROOM: The engine room is accessed in the middle of the salon. It's very roomy down there! Lots of room to access the motor, fuel tanks, water heater, water tanks etc.

ELECTRONICS: --Radar RL70c Raymarine with displays on both helms.

-- Raymarine ST 6000+ auto pilot on both helms.

-- BRAND NEW 2018 Garmin Echomap 7 nav/fishfinder/AIS on both helms.

--Volvo Penta gauges on both helms.

-- SCAD water and head tank monitor and level gauges.

--Pioneer radio with 3 salon speakers and flybridge output.

--EPIRB brand new 2018

--EMTrak AIS brand new 2018. Sends and receives.

--2 ICOM VHF radios on both helms

--Saturn compasses on both helms.

--Brand new 2018 Bluetooth wired speakers on the flybridge.

--New Blue LED lighting for the cockpit and flybridge 2018.

--2 new HD TV's. 2018

--Flybridge security camera/screen in lower helm.

CONTROLS: --High gloss wooden steering wheel.

-- Bow thruster controls on both helms

--Maxwell anchor windlass with controls on the bow and the lower helm.

--Kobelt forward/reverse and throttle controls on both helms

My boat shows in excellent condition. I have added so many nice touches to this boat over the last year. In addition to the items I have listed above I also just had the flybridge enclosure, bridge canvas and the complete salon wraparound canvas done this year.

This boat is turnkey. I have never had any issues with her. I routinely take the boat from Boston to Cape Cod (the round trip is about 100 miles or so). I have never had one hiccup on any of my trips. If I had the time I would have no probably taking this boat to Florida tmmrow! I have all the service records and receipts from all my mods I have done. When I bought the boat last year I had 3 brand new batteries put in and we polished the fuel tanks. I also put a brand new water pump and impellor, belts, hoses for the thru hull in the head....The list goes on and on. I can't list everything on this small ad. :) Here's a new video of her on YouTube . The Eisenglass looks old because it was foggy and rainy that day! It's brand new!!

Oops, it says "For Trade" but its for sale.

what's up Jason? Trading up, or ?????
Who am I gonna call with my stupid questions now?

toni

Very Competitive

If she is up on Yachtworld she should get some interest at that price. There are always a few on the market but yours should be very competitive. You may still want to join ECCO just to list her there. I will let folks who admire mine know that yours is on the market.

Always interested in what a Camano owner may get next. I haven't really found anything yet that has given me any serious thoughts. Love the looks of a lot of pilothouse boats with side decks but love my flybridge, salon, access to stuff and the slip fees are gravy on top! :thumb:

Haha! Yes, looking to move up but I'm also fine if she doesn't sell. Great boat no matter what!

Milton,

If I don't get any interest in the next few weeks or so then I'll definitely go the YW route. Im trying to sell her myself because I know way more about her than any broker will and obviously I'm trying to avoid the 10% brokers fee.

Yes, I'm an ECCO member.

Well there's a few boats on my radar. The Mainship 400 trawler and the Heritage East 36 are at the top....then I'm also drawn to the Grand Banks 36 classic (and possibly a GB 42 classic).

We shall see!

Just a quick note: I've been looking at Camano 31s for a while now. Having never actually ridden in one, I was interested in talking to Jason about his because my wife and I were on our way from Seattle to Boston for a week. He ended up letting me fill one of his diesel tanks, and I got to see how a very nice Camano runs. For anyone looking for a Camano, you have to give this one a look. It is truly well equipped as Jason states, and purrs like a kitten. Thank you again Jason!

Thanks Perry. Glad I could help.

BuMp....Reduced to $89K obo. I'll be in the water for the next few months. All offers will be reviewed.....I'm ready to move up. Damn, someone is gonna get a steal............

Huge price reduction for winter!! $79k. I'll be raising the price back up again in the spring.

My boat was surveyed last week( and a separate engine survey) and the buyer just backed out. He had health problems.

The surveys both came back good (with only some minor recommendations). I'm ready to sell this now. Come and save thousands.....

Love the look of your boat. Toni took my wife and I for a ride on his boat and told us about yours. If it was just a few years in the future or I could get it to the west coast. Good luck.

Thanks. It's easy to ship Camanos via a trailer since there is no fixed flybridge hardtop. It's about $15k from Boston to Seattle.

There is an open invitation to spend the weekend on my boat for anyone that is interested in filling one of my fuel tanks for me.

I apologize for the hijack, but I felt it needed to be said. ;)

you got yourself a deal. In fact I'll fill both tanks. Just swing by my local marina and pick me up.

Hey Jason, sorry to see your boat still on the market. Better luck in the Spring Bud!

$75k obo. My boat will be in the water all winter and can be viewed anytime.

Bump! In the water and ready to be tested. All systems are being used daily and I've been starting the motor a few times per week and bringing her up to temp.

stick it on a flatbed, truck it out here and sell it for another 20 grand. Easy!!!

great price, I know the previous owner of your boat, nice folks. didn't he have solar panel on boat somewhere and davits ? Thanks

SOLD to a very nice gentleman in NYC. I hope he joins TF and enjoys his beautiful Camano.

The 2 greatest days in a boaters life?? Umm...yes and no. If I wasn't a full time liveaboard then I definitely would've kept the Camano for a long, long time.

congrats. Sorry to see you head off to bigger and maybe not so better things. Don't worry, another troll will come along again when you recover.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Haha, Toni. Absolutely. I'm a Camano fan for life, don't worry about that. I think we should start a petition to get Brad Miller building them again! Is Bob Warman still alive?! Lol. No disrespect meant there. They are amazing boats. It's a shame the 41's never really caught on. I'd buy one right now....

Congrats! Hope the new owner joins ECCO and comes on down to the Chesapeake in late May.

Agree, selling boats is bittersweet. A lot of memories attached to them.

What are you thinking of next?

Thanks Milt. He told me that he actually has a summer home in Rock Hall. I'll let him know about ECCO and TF.

I've toured several boats this winter. From a 1998 Bayliner 4788, to a 2004 Monk 36, a Mainship 400, Mainship 390 and a 2003 Carver 410 SS.

I really liked the 4788 and the Mainship 400. The Bayliner is a real SHIP. Over 50' LOA. Very cool layout with the true pilothouse.

The 400 Mainship trawler was mint but I didn't exactly love the salon/galley. It seemed like a small space for a 40 foot hull. I'm actually surprised that Mainship went with the big cockpit design for a trawler. I would've preferred a smaller cockpit and more salon space.

hang out over at bayliners owners club in the motoryacht section and you'll get tons of info on the 47 and 45 88's. I think Kevin Sanders posts here quite often and he's a great resource.

Interesting how so many of us wind up on similar paths...

Our Mainship 390 is up for sale because we bought a Bayliner 4788...
