For sure Manship. I've replaced a few of mine, and keep spares on board. Yes, they are L & R. The phillips head machine screw adjusts closing tension on the handle, it's really easy to go overboard, next thing you know .... bink.... the dog cracks. Just make it tight enough to slightly compress the gasket. I've found that a little silicone grease on the moving parts keeps them working smooth.
Less than 30 minutes! WOW!!!
