Tried a bunch of other sources (including Superbright and Dr LED) then settled on them, they understand and offer solutions for boat related issues better than anyone, including nuances like replacing 12 volt AC halogens, and 32 volt systems. I don't think you will find any individual with enough data to constitute a reliable scientific sampling.
and I don't think Superbright is the only good supplier.
The take away I learned was the cheap online suppliers are likely not a good value in the long run.
Pick a quality supplier that provides complete technical specs and tech support and pick a bulb rated at more that 12-15V and you will do much better.
