Catamaran or multihull trawlers

I have started a "social group" for multihull trawlers on TF. There doesn't seem to be a place for them otherwise as there probably isn't enough in each major manufacturer for them to have separate forums, and many of the boats are one-off's or nearly so.
Multihulls have their differences to monohulls and these could be discussed in one place (without being on the General forum), yet it may be a mostly social group as the general trawler/travel items will be put in the usual forums.

Mods, please remove if this isn't a good idea!

Otherwise, please join the social group if you are interesting in powered multihulls (catamarans or trimarans), whether the manufacturer calls them "trawlers" or not!

Good idea. Powercats have been a legitimate alternative to mono-hulls here in the US for 25 years now, offering equal or better economy, seaworthiness and space, albeit at a somewhat higher price.
