And today one of the questions asked if looking to joining up is whether or not you have tats and how many. Seems they are no longer representative of what the navy want!
 
I wanted to get this tattooed on my back:

I was going to have that 4 masted schooner put somewhere else on my body, in a place where people wouldn't likely see it, but the tattoo artist said "well, what are you going to do with all of that leftover space?"
 
Now I’m confused. 20 years in the USN and 20 more years on Harley’s and I never found the urge to ink up. Guess I saw way too many of those Tat’s that were old and no longer recognizable, go figure.

Same here, but going for my first next week, age 70. What the hell, I’ll be dead before it fades.
