correct terminology

I call it a visor, like on a baseball cap.
 
Venturi is the most used name in my experience.
 
Not specific to Grand Banks. Oddly, if we're on the bridge or outside of the boat we refer to it as the 'venturi'. If we're inside the boat looking out the lower windshield..'eyebrow'.
 
The wind deflector is most commonly referred to as a Venturi. The compartment area below the Venturi is most commonly referred to as the eyebrow.
