I like the way you keep Seaweed nice and simple with an uncluttered look. :thumb:

Gah dang it! He beat me to it. :rofl:

Favorite photo of your "baby"?

I'm in "dry dock" this summer so the KIKA went out on charter. Just received this picture from Squirrel Cove on Cortez Island, B.C.IMG_6887.JPG

Hi, I am new to the forum and nearly as new to bigger boats. I bought our first boat in 1973. It was a 15'3" Sturey open bow runabout. We fell in love with the water and boating. We bought a new 1985 Sea Ray Sundancer 30' and cruised from Barkley Lake on the Cumberland River to Destin FL and back in 1986 via Tom-Bigbee. That was before I had ever heard about what is now known to everyone as doing the loop. We have been on and off of the water and boats over the years. Working and raising a family dictated our activities. Three years ago we bought our current boat. She is a 1989 Carver Californian 48' 3 stateroom cruiser that we are truly enjoying. I hope to retire soon and possibly do the loop now that I know what it is. I tried to attached a picture of our baby while visiting Clarksville Tn. but did not figure out how to. You can view a picture in my profile if interested. Thanks for taking the time to read. Charlie

Eric, I was very surprised too, but if camera angle was reversed, surely there'd be a bushel of boats anchored back in the bay. I'm hoping to finally go boating in October.

Looking through summer holiday photo's...Badger dwarfed by it all at Brim River, Gardner Canal, north coast BC, before forest fire smoke season;

Be sure to leave Bishop Bay hot springs to the Inside Passage riff-raff and stop at Europa hot springs instead as you go by...there's usually nobody else there :thumb:

Couldn't resist another favourite - this time moored at Port Arthur, Tasmania February 2017.
