I hauled out my Mainship 34T today. That's weird. Up in NY, we don't haul out in July. Well, I'm in Fl now, too dam hot! Plus I need to paint the bottom anyway.

I have twin screws, and it appears to me, the "sling" plates are in the wrong spots. I assume that most 34T's off the line were single screws? With that keel running back to the rudder and 1/2 the weight in the stern, the distribution has to be different. I believe both the back and forward plates need to move aft about 2 feet.

Anyone look at where the slings go on a 34T? The stern was sticking way out and the bow looked as if the sling was too far forward.

Is there a bulkhead behind the marker? The hull needs some form of reinforcement to prevent the slings from crushing the hull. Its not only about balance.

Check the scales to see how balanced it is

The scale did show the transom heavy and there is a bulkhead about 2 feet aft of the front mark.
