Nice set up. Very cool dinghy .

I believe I have the same Davits and was wondering if you know what the weight capacity of them are. Mine have a 400 stamped near the base.20180215_133906.jpeg

New old davits

I am in need of a new davit system for my 11' F/G Boston Whaler with 10 HP O/B,( total weight 450 lbs) on the stern of my 45' trawler. Considering this same system or similar but also the Weaver style swing up/snap davits.

Any suggestions out there or general comment? Thanks

I think mine are rated @200lbs each, but I’m not entirely sure. My dinghy weighs in at 80lbs. Electric motor is 26lbs.

I also think they made more than one model, you might have the heavy duty ones.

I still have to make a block & tackle for mine.

Looks great, and the style is so appropriate for the boat.
