Love these Camano 41's! Oh baby! This is porn for the original Camano enthusiasts! Still can't believe these weren't more successful. I guess the biggest gripe I read about was that it only had 1 stateroom and for a 40' boat w/ a 14' beam that is rare. Also the side decks still were narrow based on the beam. But IMHO I agree with the designer. I'd rather have more salon real estate and a beamy interior. I also like the separate head/shower design. Was the 41 a family boat? NO, NO, NO....But it may have been one of the greatest cruising couples boat that fell by the wayside. :(

Good video review of the 41!

I'm not sure it fell by the wayside...it looks like it was bought by Bracewell....and is now sold as the Bracewell 41. ( and they added a second cabin )

That's true. I just wish Brad Miller wouldn't have got out so quick though. I mean look at the following the original Camano brand garnered. The ECCO folks on the east coast and the CamanoPacific on the left coast (and some Trawler Forum peeps as well!).

" The dollars gotta make sense though"!!! Lol

The Troll has a very fervent fan base, but didn't that change hands a few times and have some dormant periods ? Boat building seems to be a kind of cyclic industry and every so often there are these mass extinctions and consolidations. I guess you just have to hope that if a design is good enough, it will survive to be made by someone else.

Had one of the 41's parked behind me at the camano gathering this week at Lopez Island. All I can say is wow, what a beautiful boat.

Awesome lines on our big brother the 41! That's a fact.

FLIKIRS... Think BIG's Revious Name and First Owner

Think BIG was named FLIKIRS before she was sold to her 2nd owner who renamed her Think Big. We'll see if Big's brother follows the same chain of owners though there is a lot more competition in its price range than the 31's. Must be nice having a 45 gallon holding tank though!
