The Bug Disrupter looks like a rectangular Algae-X unit

There are plenty of people who use them, including Steve Dashew.

I don't use things I don't understand, and I don't understand how a magnet can affect fungi such as hormoconis resininae (diesel bugs).

Concentrate on keeping the water out of the fuel. The bugs need water to survive.

btw - Interesting boat, - Are you planning a singlehanded circumnavigation?

It looks like it's missing the mast... I certainly wouldn't want a trimaran without a mast, even if it had 4000 gallons of fuel and a 6 inch draft.

It uses the same theory, I have an Algae-x. The Algae-x is round and has a longer flow path and longer exposure to the magnet. I also have 1942 steel tanks and the magnet picks up the tiny rust pieces before the primaries. I clean the magnet off every couple years. What good it does for the fuel, I'm not sure. I always use a conditioner/biocide whenever I fuel.

Greetings,
Mr. g. I concur. Magnetic fuel treatment quackery. Probably about as useful as a Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator.
