Almost blind

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.

So, I was wrong, the owner was hiding things and he let me make a 600+ mile trip before he did a reveal. Now I will be jaded for sure. On top of that I found the previous listing for the boat where he must have paid about half of what he was asking and he hardly did anything to the boat.

Well he did let it loose the Bimini during hurricane and some gunnel damage, not revealed. Turd.

Back to kissing frogs I guess......

Boat name was "Door to Summer"
Sounds just like the DeFever 40 I looked at in Naples 3 months ago --- a real disaster!

Nice!!! what Marina is this?

The more boats you look at the better you come to know what it is you want, and don't want in a boat. Maybe even more important, you come to know real market asking prices. That knowledge allows you to look at a boat and make an offer without thinking it over for a few days while someone else plunks cash down as a deposit on your dream boat.

One last point to ponder over rum, or gin, or both.... Even looking at a crappy boat in an ocean harbor is far better than looking at a hay bailing machine in the dust bowl.

Congrats on your new boat. It looks very nice.
