Too funny! (the joys of modern boat tech)

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.

Greetings,
Also interesting to observe M&P's view of PFD usage particularly regarding children and their potentially dangerous position on the open aft end of a moving vessel...Not a company I'd care to do business with.

That's great, the kid's seems unflappable!
My daughter was 9 and used to bring Volunteer ( 50' x 66000 lbs single screw with too small of bow thruster ) into the marina.. she rarely stuck the landing but typically got very close.

That kids a yacht skipper in the making.

I have three impressions, in no particular order:
- The sales person is much better than I at providing instruction.
- I would love having that type of joystick control in a aft cockpit station.
- I agree with RT. In WA state it would be illegal for a child to not be wearing a PFD in that situation. Beyond illegal, it is irresponsible.

So that is what folks in the most expensive commercial marina in Vancouver do in their spare time. Luckily my boat is moored elsewhere.

Guess my response would be, "You want $1.8M for that?"

Ted
