To change the subject a little on my SF bottom paint thread..the more I learn the more I am wondering if I should bite the bullet and flip from ablative to hard paint. I am down to next to nothing on the hull and my usage for the next two years or so is going to be day trips with some long weekends thrown in. However, the boat sits for weeks at times without moving. Boat is slipped in a low current area, very protected and I do use a diver monthly +-. I know with hard paint you have to remove and begin again at some point because of build up but I would be starting out fresh and doubt I will own the boat that many years down the road... comments appreciated...
