Port Shades

Hello Trawler friends. Wondering if anyone has a lead on anyone who can make port shades like the one in the picture.

I'd just go to Lowe's and order some stock shades.

We like port shades vs drapes. Check out port shades at Zarcor Solutions

Depending on the climate you live with , you might consider "warm shades".

These are insulated and help with air cond or heating and easy to custom order off the net.

Those are a level 1 sewing project. Anyone who can sew could make them and if you don't know anyone, there will be someone in your town who makes curtains and drapes for a living.

I asked my first ex wife to sew up a hole in my pants pocket and she sewed the pocket closed. I learned to sew myself.

Basic sewing can come in handy around a boat.

We had the Zarcor shades on one of our boats, and they did block out the sun/view well when they were closed. However, even when they were totally open, you lost 50% of the light coming in and half of your view...
