One hint on vacuum cleaners:

Never give your wife a new vacuum cleaner for her birthday or Christmas! :rolleyes:

For those with no carpet and wondering why they might need a vacuum cleaner, you probably have upholstery, mattresses and such that you can't clean effectively with a broom or mop.

Hmmm... big buck$$$ compared to a corded Shark with the same BB&B 20% coupon...

Our "test" continues, but so far the Shark seems to work fine. The cord isn't onerous...
