I saw some comments in another thread and did not want to hijack that one.

My Taiwanese trawler has wonderful teak and holly striped floors. What is the best product to keep them looking great ?

I read about mixing an oil based varnish with turpentine ? I am thinking it preserves the wood without build up, correct ? When I look very closely at the surface I do not see any typical varnish build up of layers. Is that a rubbed finish ?? It is definitely not gloss.

If the boat is used in damp non smooth conditions , a no skid finish might be a help.

Gymnasium or bowling alley varnish is no skid when wet.

I have the same floors as you. Murphy's Oil Soap mixed with water, ( I just eyeball it) cleaned once a week keeps them beautiful!
