There's not too much info on these boats, but from what I gather, they're some form of C&L and Ocean Alexander boats. Is this because they were all built in the same yards and just had different names slapped onto the hulls?

If they were built in the same yards, I assume the quality control was hit or miss as well? I've found one that I like (going by pictures) but it's several hours away. Just wondering if anyone had some info on these boats.

There is a approx 50' pilothouse model in our harbor.

They look like nice heavy boats. Typical of the TT's built in that era.

I would expect the same "big picture" challenges on these as you see on most any boat of that era. Possible old steel tanks, balsa cored decks penetrated by thousands of screws for teak decking, etc...

It goes without saying that any 30-40 year old boat is going to reflect the maintenance it's recieved more than anything else.

Are they wood core or fiberglass hulls? I assume they're wood, but haven't found anything confirming this.
