Need a recommendation on a transmission oil temp gauge. Both Warner drives on Lehman 120s.
Sweep on the VDO transmission temp gauges doesn't match up well with the temp range of the drives (90 - 100 degrees normal operating temp/overheating well before 190 - gauge is too large a range and jumps too quickly fr 100 to 200). The regular VDO engine oil temp gauge range is a better fit for the range of the drive. Anyone know if the engine oil sensor gauge can be used for the velvet drive?
Any thoughts would be helpful. I'm rebuilding my console w new wiring, gauges, and sensors. Using VDO viewline ivory for everything else.
