Ever had an aiming issue, visiting the head at night, not wanting to wake others using overhead lights? I found a neat light with 8 Leds and movement sensor. Batteries included. Neat unit, quite bright, only senses in the dark, stays on around 40 secs but further movement re-excites it(not that kind of movement, a wave of the hand will do).
One is installed, using double sided tape, in what passes for the home "wine cellar"(that space under the stairs),the other is destined for the head on the boat.
For Aussies, available at Bunnings, a 2 pack cost around $18, branded "MagicLiving". There could be other applications, at home and onboard.

Only when the boat is rocking and rolling.

Sitting for all performances eliminates the aiming problem. :flowers:

Ted, that doesn't work unless I want to wash it in the head. [emoji16]

I bought a tall toilet so it's extra deep. That helps me stabilize things during wave action.

If you put the seat down before mounting the head, you won't have that problem.

My vacuflush has the same issue. Just bought a new bowl which will hopefully eliminate that problem.

That sounds risky, my Jabsco head has a macerator pump.

Bruce, you put some very terrible images in my head, I will have nightmares tonight :D

Sorry Lou, I am attracted to smut like a moth to a flame.
Returning to the light, it is a great success in the "wine cellar" at home, I will definitely fit the second one in the head on the boat.

You guys in Aussie land are strange. We don't flush until we stand and are out of the way. LOL

When I read "wine cellar" I find the thread immediately far more interesting

Other than truthfully reporting on the sensor light, the other stuff is pure made up BS, thought up as I go along.
Apropos of nothing, the Aussie expression "Well, you do know he sits down to pee?",comes to mind :). We are a bit strange here. But worth a visit, just 14 hours LA-Sydney direct.
