Since its tempting to think "volume" it's not the hailor or the horn...wonder if there were any electronic accessories in 1993 that began with brand name "vol" ?

Any guesses what Bridge VOL circuit breaker might be for, on a 65 Viking CPMY ?

Maybe Viking manufacturing would know, or, if there is a Viking owners group site ask there too. If it's a spare a USB charger outlet comes in handy up there if you don't already have one
good luck

Turn off disconnect it, then see what stops working.
Doubt that would work as it is most likely for something that no longer exists on the boat, just curious what that was.

FWIW, is on the DC panel

How many amps is it rated?
Is it a switch type or just a breaker.

link mentions a Bridge Volume Control.
Perhaps could have been used to turn on an audio amplifier, or send sound to the bridge?

Bridge Variable Orbit Launch, to use your boat as a spaceship, be careful when using it you need first to contact air traffic control.

Perhaps a dash Volt meter?

while tiny they do use juice for nothing if you are not looking at it.

Before SOC the volt meter was used as a very poor battery SOC gauge.

I suppose but that sure would be slack not to add the "t" to the end.

At this point the flybridge stereo system seems possible.....will check it out next time I'm at the boat. Actually I don't half care what it is, but I'm selling the boat and the potential buyer seems dying to know what it is for.

Every boat needs some mystery!
