Advice on head cleaning

We've just purchased a GB trawler. Any advice on cleaning products to be used in the head. We're newbies to power boats.

Whatever you use to clean the head has to be compatible with whatever you use to control holding tank odor. I use ODORLOS for odor control and many household chemicals render it ineffective.

C.P. Marine Toilet Bowl and Drain Cleaner would be the cleaning product to use without killing the ODORLOS.

Raritan toilet chemicals are very good. Their CP cleans the bowl safely and their CH cleans the inside of the hoses.

Get yourself a copy of Peggie Hall's book on controlling boat odors. It was Peggie that developed the chemicals that Raritan sells.
