Super nice looking Cantina!! I love that last anchorage shot. Actually all of the pics are great! I agree with Chris- I love the holiday season on the boat!

Very nice.....love the wood trim,...well, actually, I hate the wood trim, but I love it on other peoples boats. *Good looking vessel.

Very cool boat Cantina! I also love that chair. Is the wood floor new? It really shines!!!

Thanks Reefdrifter, The teak and holly floor is original. Used to be mostly covered with rugs, but I like to see the wood better.

Ok, not the best shot in the world, but this is my Lotus in her new paint, and canvas, and now with names re-applied.

*She looks great, Peter.* A proud vessel for sure.* I really like that shaded aft deck area, too.

My pride and joy .....

Yeah, nice one Erik. Looks great....oh, and yes I'm almost back. Leave via Heathrow 22.10 tonight with 21 hours of flying time ahead - then I'll be home. But I have had the chance of the odd sneaky peak on here when I could get my hands on someone else's computer.
Have you got that new engine in and bedded down yet Benn...?

Peter,
On the plane this morning for Heathrow and then Paris. France for 3 weeks.
Latest report is on my thread.
back in Mooloolaba all fantastic.
Wheelhouse work and prop repitch to be completed on my return.

Hey Old Fishy:....that one photo got more than the thread going again. *Of course, I was speaking about the boat she was resting upon. *She (the boat) is still my example of celebrating style. *Always loved the paint job.

Love those jackstands Willy.

Well I don't know how to go back and insert text in the original post! This is my first post. The boat is a 35 ft Golden Gate built in the CHB yard in 1980. Hello all!!!!

Sure looks like a clean vessel. I know that teak trim is lots of work, but it is so nice!

*Right you are , Mark.* Your eyes are younger than mine.

Don,

I even saw the davits**** ....better go see the eye doctor Don. I'm older than all my doctors, My sister, my wife, My mom and her kids. I'll prolly get the davits too.

Thanks, boy am I prompt. She is in her slip at Ventura West in Ventura CA. The davits are from Martek. I didnt like carring the motor so I had the bost yard whip up a stainless stancion and mounted it between the davit and the left arm and mounted a motor mount to it visable above. It is more than strong enough but I just didn't like it. I do move from anchorage to anchorage with the motor hung on the dink.

Vindance, that doesn't look like Florida.

Hogrider,

Not the best pic but here's the new girl. New boot stripe etc. coming as soon as the kids are back cracking the books. Changing the canvas to "toast".

Way to go, Daddyo.* That is* serious craft.* Where is she located?

This craft is impressive although its all-white exterior*is very*boring and uninspired:

Any craft with a crow's nest is hard for me to resist.*

If it is the boat I think it is, it's steel, 60-feet long and 18-feet wide.* She'll have to choose the tides carefully to exit this marina.

And it has over six times the volume of my Coot!
