By the way.* "Coot" is the name of the boat's model, as well as a local water bird in the San Francisco Bay and Delta.* "Carquinez" (Kar-keen-ez, named after a local*native Indian band)*is the name of the strait between San Pablo and Suisun (Soo-soon) bays which will be the most frequent waters she will travel.

We are FINALLY getting the new name on the boat today so I am gonna hold off on stern pictures until that is done! I've had the boat back now from getting painted for what, 8 weeks? You wouldn't think it would be so hard to get a name on a boat.

Volunteer had a JLO stern.... kind of wide and built to perform!

( I don't know what you were thinking but what I meant was she would hold a lot of weight and had a easy motion running downwind )
