The 2016 CHS tide and current tables are now available online.
CHS - Canadian Tide and Current Tables
I am in the process of assembling them into 3 large pdf's that are bookmarked. I also have a table of contents that lists all the stations, the coordinates and the relevant CHS chart. Last summer, I found it really helpful to these available on my iPad. I also have the books but found I used the electronic version often.

Yes! I also have electronic tide and current programs and consult with them all the time, but these do not always agree with the CHS content. When discrepancies arise, I always defer to the CHS content.

Contact me by PM if you are interested in my bookmarked PDF content.

Those who have requested these, I have sent them on. You should be receiving them shortly via 3 emails. Note that I have not prepared them for the Atlantic provinces.

2017 CHS tide and current tables how online.

As before, I have created bookmarked PDF documents for 2017. Note that the CHS has almost doubled the number of tide stations available for both Volume 5 (Juan de Fuca Strait & Strait of Georgia) and Volume 7 (Queen Charlotte Sound to Dixon Entrance). In particular they now have tide tables for both Sandheads and Steveston (the caveat being both stations are greatly influenced by freshet conditions of the Fraser River).

While there are electronic tide calculators by "independent providers" for the entire world, I prefer to use the CHS tables where available as these do differ from the 3rd party sources--sometimes quite significantly.

If you wish, I can email these out if you provide me your email address by PM.

Jim

Also thanks and off topic does hodaka refer to 70's motorcycles?
