How did they to that without a pile driver?

We used a 5hp pump with 15' of 1" pvc and jet them down until we hit the old limestone bottom, about 12 to 14' down, BB

Fascinating. *Love to watch the workmen of the third world countries getting things done without the tools we've become so accustomed to. *Thanks for sharing this.

It is amazing what they can get done without cranes, and heavy equipment and OSHA. I explained what I wanted and just stay the heck out of the way. And at the end of the day pay them $35.00 each BB

Yes. When I started construction of my concrete house, I realized mixing sand, morter and graval on a sheet of plywood wasnt going to do it. I shipped in a gas powered 3 bag . mixer and we would pour for 20 hours straight, using 5 gal. buckets and a team of 30,crazy sh=t I ever was involved with, but got it done. You can see my house on -VRBO/Belize/Banana cabana,.BB

Florida is mostly just a sand bar , a 2inch Honda pump is all it takes to "jet in" pilings .

There is hard pan a few ft down , so the pile driver is only needed for hurricane docks .

The shallow footings docks (5ft) will sink a post 30 ft inland , so any pull on the dock is taken by the posts , not the dock.

I had my first boat cold molded in British Honduras ,45 ft , about 1966, by Stacy Tewes , before it was Belize.
